So that readers can check whether revenue is skewing our claims, we disclose our operating position, revenue state, and interests here, always available.

Operating position

This site is matsumotory's personal activity. The operator works at a research institute and also takes part in running and investing in a personal company, but this site is neither the institute's work nor the personal company's business. Internal information from the workplace and the personal company is not written in the articles; only knowledge generalized from source material is covered. Interests related to the source material, including affiliations and positions as an officer or investor, are disclosed on this page. Details of running it on personal time and resources, and the theme boundaries agreed with the workplace, are explained on the About page.

Revenue state

The paid ways to read this site are the Standard and Premium subscriptions and one-time purchase. Prices are listed on the plans page. A rough scale of subscription revenue will be updated on this page once a year, as results accumulate. We carry no advertising.

Self-check on claims

The force that pushes a writer to sharpen claims to match subscriber reactions works structurally on paid publishing. As a countermeasure, once a year we write an article looking back at how our own claims have changed, and check for shifts pulled by subscriber reactions. This check is also recorded as research data.

Use of AI

This site records and analyzes matsumotory's work and thinking, made together by matsumotory and AI. We do not reveal, per article, which parts were written by whom, but we do not hide that AI is involved. The details of this disclosure are explained on the Aboutpage.
